The last years, when I heard musicians dying it always touched me but the same as when I hear that someone in the elderly home in my village died. I never understood how fans could cry and be sad about a star dieing.  They didn’t even know them, how can they cry!

This morning though, I understood. When I heard that the saxophone Player from the E-Street Band, Clarence Clemons died I was sad and yes, I cried. The thought of maybe going to a Bruce Springsteen concert and not hearing the Big Man play, made/ makes me sad. Just a couple of weeks ago, I heard a couple of Bruce Springsteen songs, and I couldn’t get over the fact how good Clarence Clemons was and how much he made alot of the songs.

I will still hear his playing and be happy, that I got the chance to see him once and that he will live on in recordings. He will not be forgotten and one day I hope to see him again, and maybe then, he will teach me how to play.

Till then: Rest in Peace dear Clarence Clemons!
